Family raises funds for organizations that helped Greenwich 5-year-old during cancer treatments

A 5-year-old girl from Greenwich is in the final stretch of her treatments for leukemia, and her family continues to raise money for the organizations that have helped her. Willa Kosh has a whole new outlook on life after hearing she is coming to the end of her treatments for leukemia. “She’s really just handling the chemo very well, and the doctors are really happy with how she’s doing,” said her mother, Tina Carpenteri. Carpenteri is part-owner of Garden Catering, which just started a fundraising campaign this week to help three organizations that helped Willa along the way: Circle of Care in Wilton, Live Free in Trumbull and Swim Across America Fairfield County. “Our community has been amazing,” says Carpenteri. Until the end of this month, you can buy $5 coupon books at all Garden Catering locations that will support the three organizations.
