Police update condition of girl shot in face in Easton. What we know

EASTON — A 16-year-old girl is in stable condition after suffering a gunshot wound to the face in a shooting on Tuesday afternoon, according to a written statement from Easton Police Chief Keith Boone.

The girl suffered life-threatening injuries when she was shot Tuesday, Jan. 14, at the Avalon Easton apartment complex on Robert Drive in South Easton, the chief said.

Boone said the Easton Police Detectives, along with State Police Detectives assigned to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, continue to investigate the shooting.
