Community health needs assessment survey open until March 31

In an effort to better serve the medical and wellness concerns and needs of Waverly and Bremer County residents, officials with the Waverly Health Center are asking locals to participate in a regional Community Health Needs Assessment survey.

The survey, which can be done online or with a printed out version, runs until March 31, said Lindy Ibeling, the community relations manager and Foundation director at Waverly Health Center.

According to the opening statement of the online survey, the goals of the assessment include: identifying health priorities and areas where support is most needed; understanding health disparities within communities and the factors contributing to them; guiding public health efforts and resource allocation to better serve communities; and creating strategic health plans that are more relevant and effective in meeting the needs of everyone…
