Timing, totals, impact of Saturday snow and frigid temperatures

DENVER ( KDVR ) — With over 110 hours of frigid temperatures on tap for this weekend, those who venture outside will have to brave more than just the cold.

Saturday, Sunday and Monday are Pinpoint Weather Alert Days as an arctic blast moves into Colorado and drops temperatures to the teens during the day and the negatives overnight.

With the cold comes some snow, and the metro could accumulate a few inches on Saturday. Alongside subzero overnight temperatures, slick roads and dangerous conditions are possible.
