SPCA seeks information about man impersonating as veterinarian in Monterey County

MONTEREY COUNTY — SPCA Monterey County is seeking information about a man impersonating a veterinarian in Monterey County.

A Prunedale man is providing veterinary care without a license, according to SPCA, and is suspected of animal abuse and cruelty.

“He has been giving veterinary examinations, prescribing medication, and even performing invasive surgeries in his home,” stated SPCA in a news release. “At least one dog died due to the negligence of this man, with multiple others needing follow-up vet care.”…
