AURORA, Colo (KDVR) — Aurora Public Schools are going on five days without full security systems, phones and internet access after a network outage.
APS delayed school start times for Thursday and Friday after suspicious activity caused a districtwide network outage on Monday morning. APS officials declined an interview with FOX31 for a second day.

“I’m literally in the dark. I literally have just a voicemail that there was a Wi-Fi outage and there was going to be a delayed start. That’s pretty much it,” said East Middle School parent Tony Chavez. “I just thought that was interesting how an outage has such a trickle effect.”
All APS schools will start two hours later than normal on Friday, and morning preschool will be canceled, similar to Thursday because of the continued outage.
