Virginia – A powerful winter storm is set to impact the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast this weekend, bringing snow, dangerous road conditions, and subfreezing temperatures. Snowfall will begin Sunday morning in Virginia, progressing north along the I-95 corridor toward Boston by evening.

According to the National Weather Service, areas from Washington, D.C., to New England could see 3 to 6 inches of snow beginning Sunday. Travel disruptions are likely, especially on I-95, where icy conditions will create hazardous driving. Residents are advised to avoid unnecessary travel and prepare emergency kits for vehicles.
