Boston man sentenced to life in prison for killing man in 2022 stabbing

Dwight Watson, a Boston man who pleaded guilty to fatally stabbing a Dorchester man in 2022, was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole, Suffolk District Attorney Kevin Hayden’s office said Friday.

Watson, 58, was charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of Urvin Gerald, 48, of Dorchester. Watson pleaded guilty on Thursday, Hayden’s office said.
