Heresay Beaumont adjusting opening date ‘to preserve the historic building it inhabits’

Beaumont — A popular Gastro pub known for its eclectic American cuisine, craft cocktails, and ambiance, says it’s delaying the opening date to ensure construction preserves the history of the building that’ll house the restaurant, the former site of Suga’s at 461 Bowie Street in downtown Beaumont.

The initial date of November 15 was pushed back to January, and now Heresay Beaumont is explaining why it’ll take longer.

“Hearsay Beaumont, the highly anticipated addition to the Hearsay family, will adjust its opening timeline to ensure the restaurant’s commitment to excellence aligns with its mission to preserve the historic building it inhabits,” according to a release from the company. “Our primary focus is honoring the character and legacy of this remarkable space,” said Joseph Natale, Chief Executive Officer. “By taking the time to get every detail right, we’re crafting an elevated dining experience that respects the past while delivering modern sophistication. This deliberate approach reflects Hearsay’s dedication to creating a venue infused with both timeless elegance and a contemporary twist.
