PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) – Search and rescue teams found a missing climber who was lost for a full day while summiting Mt. Hood, officials said.
Rescuers said they made contact with the hiker around 1:45 p.m.
“Search teams were able to make voice contact with the missing climber near the Paradise Park Trailhead. Additional resources, including the American Medical Response (ARM) Reach and Treat (RAT) Team worked to reach the man who was stuck in difficult terrain. At approximately 2:45 p.m., rescuers were able to locate the climber who appeared to be in good condition,” officials said…
