How do you weatherproof your home against the frigid air? You can take several steps like sealing gaps around your windows and doors or closing your curtains at night. One way I remember we kept the cold air was a draft stopper, however we didn’t have your typical stopper. Like this:
Some are practical, and some are cute, but a towel or several can do the trick. We eventually got a practical one, but I still remember seeing a towel or a big quilt at the bottom of the doors. In the first two places I lived in, there wasn’t a need for a stopper because my doors were interior, or the temperature never dropped to the point where I was freezing, and I am extremely cold-natured…
