STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The latest forecasts maintain that New York City will see plowable snowfall with Sunday’s winter storm.
The quick-moving system will arrive early Sunday afternoon and initially bring rain to the five boroughs, according to Bill Deger, a senior meteorologist with AccuWeather. Once temperatures drop below freezing, that rain will turn over to snow.
“It’s going to be a fairly quick hitting storm with most of the snow coming in the afternoon and early evening before it tapers off a couple of hours after dark tomorrow evening,” Deger added…
