Health district cites 3 Shelton businesses for priority item violations in December

SHELTON — Three local food-serving establishments received priority item violations during Naugatuck Valley Health District’s 30 inspections performed last month.

Priority item violations are the most serious, according to health officials, and must be corrected within 72 hours. They typically involve food temperature, sanitation and chemical storage near food.
