BUFFALO, N.Y. — The kerfuffle over $2.4 million in American Rescue Plan Act funds continues Friday, one day after the City of Buffalo Comptroller filed a letter with the Common Council stating those funds remained unencumbered.
Acting Mayor Chris Scanlon quickly refuted the claim Thursday night and “firmly rejected” the notion that the city may have to give ARPA funds back to the federal government.
