JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) -A few isolated showers are possible Saturday morning ahead of an approaching cold front. Most of us are seeing a dry and warmer than usual start to the day with morning temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s and afternoon highs approaching 67 degrees. Big changes arrive behind the front as arctic air sets in along with gusty winds.
This will carry into Sunday and most of next week. First Alert Weather Days are in place Monday and Tuesday for the dangerous cold. Mornings will start out in the 20s and upper teens with wind chills in the lower teens and even single digits in some locations. Afternoon highs will remain in the 30s.
