EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – After a brief relief in temperatures, arctic air is back as a cold front moved through on Friday evening. Temperatures on Saturday are expected to hit the daytime highs in the lower teens early before they continue on their downward trend. While air temperatures will be above zero, wind chills will not be throughout the day. This is all thanks to a blustery northwest wind wind between 10-15 mph With a few wind gusts nearing 30 mph.
Due to the cold in the forecast, the National Weather Service has issued a Cold Weather Advisory for all of the viewing area from 9pm Saturday until noon on Tuesday. Areas just to the north of the Chippewa Valley are under an Extreme Cold warning from 6pm Saturday…..
