The US National Weather Service is predicting extreme cold weather conditions with dangerous windchills are Jan. 19-22. The Village of Hoffman Estates, in cooperation with the Hoffman Estates Park District, will open the following designated cooling and warming centers when extreme weather is predicted to provide assistance. With the recent snow storm, the Hoffman Estates Park District announced some facility closures and late starts for their programming, so please check their website for updated information.
