Baldwin County officials are opening a shelter ahead of the winter weather forecasted to hit south Alabama next week.
The Baldwin County Emergency Management Agency announced it’s partnering with St. Paul’s Episcopal Church to provide a Safer Place shelter that will open Sunday at 5 p.m. “for residents and visitors in need of warmth and safety.”
