Projected Snowfall Totals Increase As Nor’easter Nears: See Where Up To 12 Inches Is Possible

Projected snowfall totals have increased as a fast-moving Nor’easter nears the region, with some locations now expected to see as much as a foot of accumulation.

Snowfall will begin in the central Appalachians and parts of Virginia Saturday night, Jan. 18, before spreading into the mid-Atlantic and Northeast on Sunday, Jan. 19, according to the National Weather Service.
