Toro Development Company (“TDC”), an Atlanta-based mixed-use real estate firm, today announced the official groundbreaking of Medley, the $560 million, 43-acre mixed-use community in Johns Creek, an affluent suburb of Atlanta. This latest milestone paves the way for the Medley’s grand opening on October 29, 2026.
“When we first set our sights on this dead, suburban office park, we saw an opportunity to create something truly special: a ‘Third Place’ where people can come together and experience life outside of home and work,” said Mark Toro, TDC’s Chief Vision Officer. “Similar to bringing Avalon to life from the rubble of a long abandoned project, Medley will rise from a sea of empty buildings to become the walkable, urban oasis the Johns Creek community deserves.”
Located at the corner of McGinnis Ferry Road and Johns Creek Parkway, Medley will encompass 150,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and entertainment space, a 175-key boutique hotel, 110,000 square feet of lifestyle office, 750 multifamily residences, 133 townhomes built by Empire Communities, and an activated 25,000-square-foot Plaza.
