Central Alabama Red Cross volunteers helping California fire victims

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Thousands of volunteers from across the country are jumping in to help the victims of the wildfires in Southern California.

Two American Red Cross volunteers from central Alabama felt called to help those hurting 2,000 miles away.

Annette Rowland with Red Cross says wildfire response is something they plan for around this time of year in California but a fire as large as the Palisades one needs all hands on deck…
