Pasadena Humane’s Update on Tortoise Rescued From LA Fires Is Touching Hearts

It’s a happy ending for Huckleberry. The tortoise was one of the first animals rescued by Pasadena Humane after the Los Angeles wildfires. But now, after many days in their care, the organization gave an update on the tortoise that is making people online cheer.

Things could’ve ended so differently for Huckleberry when the tortoise’s family had to evacuate their home in Pasadena, California.

As Pasadena Humane explained in their video, their Animal Control Officer originally helped the tortoise’s family get him out of their home. At 28 years old and 200 lbs. we’re sure that wasn’t an easy feat, but they made it happen. Now, days after Huckleberry was brought to the rescue, he finally is going home…
