In a somber report from the Stockton Police Department, a 56-year-old man lost his life in a hit-and-run incident near Mariposa Road and Flemons Avenue in the Park District. The Facebook post released by the Stockton Police Department indicated officers arrived at the scene following reports that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle, there they found the victim with serious injuries and despite the immediate response from medical personnel, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
