Tuesday, January 21, 2025: (Required teacher workday for staff following the traditional academic calendar are closed for students)
- All professional development sessions will proceed as scheduled.
- Craven Early College and Early College EAST High Schools will operate on a regular schedule.
- All after-school activities, including athletics, are canceled.
Wednesday, January 22, 2025:
- Craven County Schools will implement an asynchronous remote learning day for ALL schools. All staff will work remotely. (If necessary, operational classified staff will receive communication from their supervisors regarding specific instructions and options.)
- All after-school activities, including athletics, are canceled.
Students dual-enrolled at Craven Community College, including CCP and both Early Colleges, may have class requirements and assignments that are not affected by this announcement.
District leadership will continue to monitor weather forecasts and road conditions throughout the week. By 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22, an update regarding district operations for Thursday, January 23, and Friday, January 24, will be provided.
