Hrisoula “Crystal” Masgalas Dies In Chambersburg Fire

Pennsylvania State Police have confirmed the tragic death of Hrisoula K. “Crystal” Masgalas, the longtime owner of 30 West Family Restaurant, in a Hamilton Township house fire on Sunday, Jan. 19.

Troopers responded to the blaze around 8:45 p.m. at 543 Warm Spring Road in Franklin County, where first responders found the 72-year-old deceased inside the home, according to a release from Trooper Megan Frazer on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

Masgalas, who owned and operated 30 West Family Restaurant in Chambersburg for 35 years, was remembered as a cornerstone of the community. “She touched many lives throughout her career with her kind heart, whether it be employees or customers,” the restaurant shared in a statement to CBS21…
