TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A cold and rainy start to the day with temperatures in the 40s and only warming into the mid-50s. Skies will stay cloudy and rain chances will increase for off-and-on passing showers at any time today and tonight.
Rain chances will be highest before daybreak on Wednesday morning.
Temperatures will be in the low 40s as the rain comes through Wednesday morning. It clears out by mid-morning and the Tampa Bay area will be mostly dry for the rest of the day and may even see some sunshine. Despite any sun, highs will only be in the low 50s and it will be breezy.
Another round of light showers is forecast to move through Thursday morning before clearing out Thursday afternoon. Temperatures will start out in the 40s and only warm into the 50s.
The sun will return Friday and Saturday but it stays cold with lows in the 30s and highs in the 50s.
The 70s will be back on the board by Sunday and early next week!
