ROSENA RANCH, CA — On January 6, 2025, at approximately 4:30 a.m., a 2020 Jeep Cherokee was reported stolen from a residence in the 3900 block of Obsidian Road, located in the Rosena Ranch community of San Bernardino. The vehicle, which was unlocked at the time, contained personal items including credit cards belonging to the victim.
Detectives from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Fontana Station initiated an investigation and determined that the victim’s credit cards had been used at multiple businesses in San Bernardino. Surveillance footage from these locations identified 44-year-old Frederick Neely, a San Bernardino resident, as the individual using the stolen cards. Further investigation led detectives to Neely’s residence, where the stolen Jeep Cherokee was recovered.
