James Elza Howard, 75, of Quincy, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025, at his home.
James was born in Lewis County on September 2, 1949, a son of the late Russell and Marjorie Clark Howard. He was in the construction business for most of his life, working in the Columbus, Ohio, area. He enjoyed crafting jewelry in his spare time. James was a very kind and loving soul who would help others during their time of need.
Survivors include a daughter; two sisters, Fannie Hastings of London, Ohio, and Rose Rickman of Springfield, Ohio; three brothers, Michael Howard and Russell Howard of Columbus, Ohio, and and Thomas Howard of London, Ohio; and his companion, Beulah Rister of Quincy. Several nieces and nephews as well as many friends also survive who will mourn his passing…
