JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — One person was taken to the hospital Wednesday morning after a two-vehicle crash in Jefferson Township, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators said the crash occurred at the intersection of Pine Lake Street and Dailey Road just before 11 a.m.
A 23-year-old Elkhart man did not yield while turning onto Dailey Road and subsequently crashed into a 50-year-old Dowagiac woman who was driving southbound, according to the sheriff.
