Renton Police arrested a 34-year-old man for reportedly killing his 62-year-old mother.
Just after 2 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, officers responded to a 911 call from the 400 block of Williams Avenue South where a man had reported the death of his mother, according to Renton Police. Officers confirmed the death and reportedly developed probable cause to detain the son.
According to Renton Police spokesperson Meeghan Black, there were obvious signs of a struggle at the scene along with other evidence that gave officers probable cause to arrest the man.
