BROOKLYN PARK, Md. — Two Annapolis men were arrested Wednesday afternoon after Anne Arundel County Police discovered drugs and a firearm during an investigation in Brooklyn Park.
At approximately 12:30 p.m., on January 22, 2025, officers patrolling near Patrick Henry and Dell streets spotted an unoccupied stolen vehicle and a suspicious blue Nissan Altima. Police said the Altima’s registered owner was wanted on outstanding warrants.
When officers approached, the owner of the Altima, later identified as Isaiah Cooper, 21, attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended after a brief chase. A second suspect, 23-year-old Everett Eugene Weems, was detained from the passenger side of the vehicle…
