A Wilmington chef is once again in the running for a major honor.
Antimo DiMeo of Bardea Food and Drink is a semi-finalist for a 2525 James Beard Award in the category of Best Chef, Mid-Atlantic. He is competing with chefs from Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, West Virginia and Washington.
The Beard Awards are often referred to as the Oscars of Food.
