Newton, NC – The Catawba Valley Festival of the Arts (CVFA) announces an exciting opportunity for artists to participate in the White Pine Live Canvas Painting Project, a live, on-site installation to be completed at the newly renovated White Pine Supper Club in Conover, North Carolina.
This unique project invites artists to showcase their talents by creating an original painting of a white pine tree during a VIP Opening Reception. Inspired by the timeless style of Bob Ross, this live painting event will contribute to the legacy of this historic venue, blending art, community, and history.
Artists are encouraged to submit their concepts by February 28, 2025, for the chance to be selected as the Commissioned Artist. The winning artist will receive a $600 cash prize, a $100 White Pine gift certificate, and the honor of having their work displayed as a permanent feature in the White Pine Supper Club…
