Woman charged allegedly parking her car on train tracks in Chehalis while drunk, then causing disturbance at Centralia hospital in December 2023 

A woman is facing criminal charges in Lewis County Superior Court for allegedly driving under railroad crossing arms and parking her car on the train tracks in Chehalis, causing the car to be hit by a train, while she was intoxicated in December 2023.

In addition to a felony malicious injury to railroad property charge for allegedly damaging the railroad tracks, Shianne Rose Blankenship, 24, of Seattle, faces gross misdemeanor counts of DUI and interference with a healthcare facility.

The charges were filed in Lewis County Superior Court on Jan. 8, 2024, at which time Blankenship was issued a summons for a Jan. 22 preliminary hearing, which she was present for…
