Loma Linda Woman Arrested for Series of Vehicle Burglaries Across Inland Empire

A Southern California woman, identified as 34-year-old Krystal Gonzalez from Loma Linda, has been taken into custody in connection to a spate of vehicle burglaries across the Inland Empire, as reported by KTLA. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department has linked her to at least 10 incidents but suggests the number could climb as further reports emerge.

By allegedly impersonating a warehouse employee to slip past security, Gonzalez gained access to the parking lots where she proceeded to burgle cars for valuables while the real employees were working, according to the SBSD Fontana Sheriff’s Department. The thefts have plagued distribution centers throughout both San Bernardino and Riverside counties since December of last year.

During her arrest on Wednesday, law enforcement executed a search warrant at Gonzalez’s residence. They uncovered a cache of more than 100 items presumed stolen, including wallets, purses, cell phones, sunglasses, and license plates.
