FORT NOVOSEL, Ala. (WTVY) – After a few days of suspended operations, much like many locations across the area after the winter storm on Tuesday and the aftermath, Fort Novosel announced they would return to operations on Friday, January 24.
In an update posted to their social media pages, the Army post confirmed that roadways have been reopened. Caution will still be advised to drivers as they go along the roadways and bridges, with it being noted that Christian, Farrell, and Artillery Roads are still suffering from areas of patchy ice.
