UNO study focuses on impacts of body language for child prosthetic care

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – One project at University of Nebraska Omaha is testing out innovative ways to help kids who are in need of prosthetics.

UNO’s Department of Biomechanics has a research lab specializing in the development of artificial limbs for children. Associate Professor Jorge Zuniga said they do this through additive manufacturing using 3D printers.
