ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – KRQE News 13 is learning more about how long investigators looked into the DWI Unit scandal involving the Albuquerque Police Department, Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office, and New Mexico State Police.

APD has been investigating its own and trying to figure out how long the scandal has been going on. So far, their investigation reaches back to 2003. Detectives are still trying to verify a tip involving attorney Tom Clear and an officer failing to appear in court to get a DWI case dismissed.
