BRISTOL, Va. — The Bristol Chamber of Commerce focused much of its annual celebration on the region’s response to the destruction caused by Hurricane Helene and encouraging more servant leadership in the year ahead.
About 300 members and guests attended the midday event Friday at the Delta Hotel & Suites. During the event, Shari Brown, business development director for J.A. Street & Associates succeeds William Burriss III, CFO of BurWil Construction as chair of the chamber board.
“This year’s program reminds us that everyone is at the heart of what makes our community great,” Brown said. “Bristol is a caring, giving community where we support one another in remarkable ways. Whether it’s through volunteerism, mentorship, or simply showing up when it matters most, we prove time and again that our collective strength lies in how we care for each other.”
