NEW ORLEANS – The University of Alaska Anchorage had four student-athletes earn All-West Region honors from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Joshua Caleb earned all-region honors in the 60, 200 and 400. The Okrika, Nigeria, native is ranked first in Div. II this season in the 60 (6.59), second in the 200 (20.82) and 17th in the 400 (47.22). All three marks were school records. Caleb is competing in the 60 and 200 at the NCAA Div. II Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Jessica Chisar earned all-region honors in the 800. The Pleasant Hill, Calif., native ran 2:08.27, the 11th-fastest time in Div. II this season. Chisar will be competing in the 800 at the NCAA Div. II Indoor Track and Field Championships…
