One area in particular is getting attention of Sioux Falls motorists. Through social media, several are posting about a “speed trap” on 26th St. between Sycamore Avenue and I-229. Traveling west on this stretch of road is mostly downhill and it’s easy to go over the speed limit.
Keep in mind that this is considered a residential road and therefore the speed limit is 30 mph. According to user of NextDoor, the police are spotted doing their jobs nearly every day making sure speed limits are obeyed and keeping the street safe.
