COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) — A boy is dead after police said he fell out of an SUV on Columbus’ east side Sunday afternoon.
According to a Columbus police dispatcher, officers responded to a pedestrian struck call in the area of East 5th and St. Clair avenues at approximately 3:18 p.m.

At the scene, officers found the child — 7-year-old Zondeair Robertson — suffering from injuries. He was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in critical condition but was pronounced dead at 3:57 p.m.
According to Columbus Police Sgt. James Fuqua, several children were riding in the backseat of a 2020 Ford Explorer when the passenger door opened and Robertson fell out. Robertson was then run over by the Explorer…
