Salt Lake City, UT – Spring may be just days away, but winter is making one last push across Utah, bringing snow and hazardous travel conditions Tuesday. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 9 p.m. Monday to 6 p.m. Tuesday, impacting the Salt Lake Valley, Northern Wasatch Front, and Tooele and Utah Valleys.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected in valley areas, with up to 6 inches possible in Tooele and the benches. Snow will begin as rain Monday evening before transitioning overnight, creating slick roads for the Tuesday morning commute.
