Missing North Carolina Teen Christian Jenkins Found Safe in Missouri with Dog and Truck

The search for missing North Carolina teen Christian Jenkins, 16, culminated positively when he was found safe in Missouri with his dog and truck, as per an update provided by the Kill Devil Hills Police Department. The announcement came after reported sightings of Jenkins’ truck in western North Carolina, and Tennessee on Sunday. In sincere gratitude, the department expressed their thanks “to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D Troopers and Communications for their assistance,” according to a news release obtained by The Coastland Times.

The situation first caught the public eye on March 16 when the Kill Devil Hills Police Department announced that Jenkins had left his home in Devil Hills, North Carolina on the previous day, driving a brown 2006 Ford F350 with a registration plate VA7196. Initially, the truck was seen in Harriman, Tennessee at around 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, as reported by WATE. Before that, it was spotted in Haywood County, North Carolina at around 10:45 a.m. that same day, detailed further by WVLT.

Jenkins is a white male, around 5’11” tall, and weighing approximately 120 pounds. He has blond hair, blue eyes, and dental braces, and he was last seen wearing khaki pants and a green T-shirt.
