LaHood breaks silence over holding a town hall

PEORIA (25News Now) – After several weeks of calls and emails wondering whether a town hall would be hosted, a Central Illinois Congressman has broken his silence.

At a recent naturalization ceremony, 25News asked Congressman Darin LaHood (R-16th District), who represents portions of Peoria, Tazewell, and McLean counties, whether he would host a town hall to answer questions from his constituents. LaHood was also asked if he would discuss concerns with DOGE, immigration, and a litany of other issues.

While he did not say if or when he would host a town hall, LaHood reaffirmed his commitment to Central Illinois and the ways he makes himself available to the public…
