Deputy Joseph “Shawn” Singleton has made his return to the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office, a reunion highlighted in a recent social media spotlight from the department. According to a post on the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, Singleton served initially between 2008 and 2014 and rejoined the force in 2024. The post, published on March 24th, 2025, details Singleton’s roles and aspirations within the department.
Since rejoining the force, Deputy Singleton has not only completed Basic Law Enforcement Training and Field Training, but he has quickly become an integral part of the “B” Squad as a Patrol Investigator and Midland town car.
