The Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans meet in Week 17 , as Christmas Day will see two AFC playoff teams square off at NRG Stadium.
Baltimore (10-5) clinched a postseason berth last weekend, with an impressive second-half performance leading to a 34-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers . Lamar Jackson , Derrick Henry , and Zay Flowers overpowered the Steelers, creating a tie for first in the AFC North. The Ravens will be looking to build on that with a win over a Texans team that is also headed to the postseason.
Houston (9-6) may be heading to the playoffs, but after a 4-1 start the Texans have gone just 5-5, dropping disappointing decisions against the New York Jets and Tennessee Titans . Last week, Houston fell 27-19 to the Kansas City Chiefs , but more worryingly saw wide receiver Tank Dell suffer a gruesome, season-ending knee injury . That leaves Houston with plenty to bounce back from, and a win over Baltimore could be just the thing heading into the postseason.
