DUNDEE, Michigan (WTVG) – Their dances are spellbinding. Roughly half of the dance troupe Lake Eerie Hexenbrut put on a show during Witches Night. Under a Super Moon, it’s their time to shine in Dundee, Michigan.
The 55-member group is based in nearby Monroe. They visit festivals, fundraisers, schools, and senior centers from mid-September through the end of October.
“It is fantastic,” said Shannon “Autumn” Weimer, a member of Lake Eerie Hexenbrut. “There is a, like, camaraderie with all the women. We kind of share a bond of costume making and performing and, you know, we get to be creative together and bounce a lot of ideas off of each other. And then this is an outlet that a lot of ladies need, you know, outside of their home life.”…
