A 27-year-old man was severely injured Sunday night when he crashed his motorcycle and was ejected near downtown Akron, according to police.
Around 10:22 p.m., the motorcycle was traveling north on South Main Street near Selle Street when the driver tried to “negotiate a curve,” but lost control of the vehicle, police reported. The motorcycle slid sideways and the 27-year-old driver was ejected. He struck a sign and suffered a severe leg injury.
Police said the driver was transported to Cleveland Clinic where he’s listed in serious condition. His name is being withheld pending the investigation…
