3 students suffer minor injuries after Stark County school bus rear-ended while unloading students

CLEVELAND — Ohio state troopers are reminding drivers stay attentive after a scary accident involving a Stark County school bus Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers responded to a crash involving a Lake Local School District bus and a 2007 Chevrolet Equinox on Market Avenue in Lake Township just before 3:45 p.m.

The highway patrol said the school bus had come to a complete stop in the southbound and was in the process of unloading students at their homes at the time of the incident. The Chevrolet, driven by a 36-year-old man from Massillon, was also driving south on Market Avenue, which troopers describe as a “major thoroughfare.”…
